I am an LPN with over 20 yrs. of experience. I have a mobility disability & am looking for home care work but most require vent cert. Where do I go?

Penny, blkkatpur gave you a good link to get that certification. As a ventilator user myself, I have had some attendents that i have hired that have been pre vent certified and I have had some that have had no experiance at all in ventilator patients. When an attendent is hired without the experiance, they are trained on my equipment by the additional attendents working at the time, there advantages and disadvantages of both, but preferance is normally given to certified ventilator applicants. Also from Wisconsin, good luck.
