A neonate 2 days old is on ventilator but spo2 is not maintaining he is not having any chd xray does not help? |
his blood counts & other investigation r normal If the baby is a preemie then the baby may need some surfactant which will help the baby increase their oxygenation. The baby does definitely need a chest x-ray done to determine ET tube placement and to make sure there is not any underlying lung conditions to also cause the baby not to oxygenation like he/she should. have they ruled out RDS? Is the baby premature. What is the birth weight. |
