Why does my butt hole itch?

I noticed for the past few days my butt hole has been itching. My husband told me his was itching the other night. (I didn't tell him mine did too.) Do we have a venereal disease? Or could it be worms? HELP!!!
P.S. I don't have hemorrhoids or anything like that. It doesn't make sense that both of us would have the same complaint!

Drink beer or go to the drug store and get meds from there.
Have you been planting plants or in the dirt? Farmer get the same thing. It's normal.
Kids get them from eating dirt or going barefooted

Have you been eating beans or some spicy food? If not that have you had diarrhea? If you have that will irritate the butt.

If you have been eating hot spicy Mexican food for a few days, that'll do it.

I always give my children PinX twice per month, to kill pinworms they may have from eating so much junkfoods. Go to Walmart or any drug store. It works.

HAVE YOU CHANGED BRANDS OF BATH SOAP, MAYBE IT DOESNT AGREE WITH YOU AND SHOULD GO BACK TO OLD BRAND.

if u sleep in the same bed it is more likely that u have worms when i was like 8 (i am 12) i had that and i always slept wit my aunt because she didnt have e bed anyways when we slept together she had worms and they spread onto me ....which makes your a$$ hole itch like CRAZY

1 reason perfumed toilet paper? switch to non perfumed toilet paper.

2nd reason perfumed soap? switch to a non perfumed soap.

3rd. washing machine detergent/and dryer sheets perfumed? Switch to ALL (white container) dye free/colorant free/perfume free clothe detergent.
Bounce dryer sheets has one perfume free in white box.

5. Change your underwear daily! If dirty change immediatly!

6. If that does not help see a doctor immediatly!

Talk to your doctor as it could be one of any number of things. It could be something as simple as a small yeast infection. (yes, guys can get it too) Yeast can build up on different areas of the body, Best to rule that out.

If it were worms, you'd see them eventually in the stools. If worms are the case, that's usually easily taken care of by medication. It can come from not cooking meat completely done, or any number of other things.

Also, make sure when you wipe that you're totally clean. Even the slightest amount can cause an itching sensation.

If you've noticed the itching more at night it could be pin worms........they come out night. after dark take a piece of tape stick it on your butt hole then pull it off & check it for worms...or you could just see a doctor :)
