So many veins!? |
I started dieting and working out pretty hardcore the last two weeks and now I'm noticing all of these veins. I know that we have a lot of veins but why can I see almost every vein on my right side all of a sudden. Why do I have more prominant veins in my breasts and I've also started noticing spider veins on my breasts. I'm pretty pale and I've exercised a lot before and I never noticed anything like this. I know I'm not pregnant so does anyone know what this could be from and does anyone know how to tone down the spider veins? As we exercise, we increase the need for oxygen supply to our increasing muscle mass. As this happens, the body, in response to this, releases chemicals that promotes angiogenesis, the formation of blood vessels, capillaries, to carry oxygen-rich blood to those areas of increased need, while carrying away and disposing of toxins and CO2. This, in turn, results in capillary collateral (the increase in those veins/capillaries). |
