Veins ''pop'' Please answer!?

My mum told me that when your vein comes to the surface of your arms ( biceps usually after doing weight workouts ) eg. Wrestlers, bodybuilders where you can see their veins pooping to the surface on their arms.

She said that there is a bigger chance that the vein will ''pop'' and could lead to internal bleeding or might even kill you in your sleep? Is this true b'cause right now i'm afraid. I can almost see my veins on my biceps but not sure if it is unhealthy?

There's nothing wrong with seeing your veins. When you work out, the veins dilate to allow blood (and nutrients) to get there faster, causing them to look and be bigger. It
s also a genetic thing, some people can't see theirs, while other people can see them all the time.

Well, let's put it this way, if there was a chance that popping veins caused internal bleeding and death, I would have been dead by now (it happens to me a lot).

Your fine, I think your mom heard a myth or is just trying to scare you away from weight lifting.
