Veins on my arm, the lowdown.? |
I'm sixteen, have been weight training for let's say about nine months, but only in the last two have veins appeared. Now i don't mind all so much if i've got veins when i'm working out or whatever, because that's standard, and i'll accept that, but in hot weather, or just when my arms hang by my side for a long period, three or four veins become pronounced on the underside of my arms. Is this a necessary by-product of become fitter and gaining a more 'cut' body, or is there any way i can reduce these effects? Or are there specific exercises that i am doing which are causing these veins. If you can enlighten me in any way i will be extremely thankful, thanks a lot. I don't know how to get rid of them. get fatter you are increasing muscle tissue. The tissue needs blood. Therefore the veins need to increase in size to accommodate the need for more blood. I have the same problem, especially in warmer weather, and I do not train with weights. For me, I notice it happens when my blood pressure rises or when I am dehydrated. The next time your veins start to protrude, raise both arms in the air for 30-60 seconds. Mine usually go away immediately. Hope this helps! not alot you can do,i started training at about fifteen and all of a sudden i got massive veins in my arms! i used to gross people out by sitting down and putting my hands under knees and pushing upwards and they used to pop out big time! Increased blood flow to warmer areas of the body will show pronounced blood vessels, it's perfectly normal, also if some of the blood vessels are closer to the top layers of your skin, this will cause them to show up more. Also because your young, your body will work at a higher metabolic rate, again, this means stronger blood flow throughout your body. |
