Veins on breast?

just yesterday i noticed a blue protruding vein on each of my breasts.on my left breast the vein starts at the top and ends at the nipple. on the right breast it is on the inner side.i was wondering what could cause this. i looked on the computer a little i only found information on breast cancer and pregnancy. i have been tired lately and at the mall the other day i felt really hot and dehydrated like i had to sit down. my period should start on the 25 26 or 27th.
i was wondering what the veins could mean. theyre really noticable

im not asking to hear a bunch of stoop-*** answers only answer if youre serious i dont need criticism. BTW im 17

Are you on birth control pills? The estrogen in the pills can cause the veins to be more prominent.

"The veins are most likely due to the breast enlargement that you got with the pills. Anytime an organ system or tissue enlarges, more arterial and venous blood supply is formed. Some women just show it more than others. Your breasts must be sensitive to the estrogen in the pills. This is more common in women under 20 but can happen any age"

Most of the info I have found regarding the veins in the breast also talk about the breast size enlarging. But I found this:

"It is not unusual for one breast to be larger than the other breast. Likewise having veins more visible at different times particularly in connection with fluctuations in breast swelling with menstrual cycles. Breast swelling and tenderness can be side effects of many oral contraceptives.

If the size of the left breast is increasing along with the new distension of veins, check again with your physician, they may need to do additional evaluation as to the cause of the size increase."

I can tell you that I have not heard of enlarged/visible veins on the breast surface as a characteristic of breast cancer.

ok

Probably means nothing. I have the same thing. It's called getting old.

hi
sounds scary but i dont really think its anything

Well i hope "protruding" doesn't mean popping out or very, very, very, visible. If it does, I suggest you get some of those things that cover like the nipple and have strings where the nipple is and you swing around and around and around. That will take our attention off the "blue protruding veins" and when you take em off, we wont even notice them because we are in such a state of euphoria.

Well, if you're not drinking enough water and your body is dehydrated, then that makes the veins throughout your body stick out more. That's why body builders don't drink any water before they compete, so those veins pop out all over the place.

Otherwise, you could just have thin skin around that area, like on my chest, the blue veins can be seen, and they're HUGE! But they don't protrude. You're probably just not drinking enough water. However..... IF you feel constantly thirsty, then it's likely you could be Diabetic.

The skin on the breast is much thinner than the rest of the skin on the body. It is perfectly natural for your skin to seam transparent in that area and veins are noticable and visable. There are also alot of nerves and viens in that area. I woundnt be conserned in the least bit.

i think this is dangerous, and may be a manifestion of underlying breast cancer

You need to get tested for breast cancer immediately. Protruding surface veins on the breast are a symptom of breats cancer as follows:
