Veins more noticeable?

veins in my fingers, hand and wrist are more noticeable than i remember. the same in goes for both feet and various other areas of my body like upper leg and arms. also i noticed small purple veins present in my feet. it doesnt look like vericose or spider veins. i am male and just turned 33. i have had a lot of stress and anxiety in my life over the past year and a half could this be a factor as well?

I'll bet you're not overweight in the least. What you're noticing is very common in thinner folks as they age. Yeah, everybody talks about hair loss, wrinkles, gray hair, etc., etc., but a thinning of the layers of fat in the body is also common as we age. It's just not noticeable in people who carry more fat, and overweight people.

Don't make it something you to add to the things you stress over. It's normal and has nothing to do with being in poor health. You're just getting older, and that really isn't something to stress over when you consider the alternative. Other advantages... you won't be one of those people who needs to get stuck 3-6 times for IVs or blood draws, and thinner people tend to have less health problems as they age.

Boy are you getting old or what ?

Keep looking Ripper, and you are sure to find something else. The stress is making you nervous and you are looking for things that might be wrong. Relax, we all have veins which show if we look for them. It is nothing to worry about, you probably did not see the sun as much this summer and your skin is pale. Again, relax................

you could have something called raynauds phenomenon. websearch it.

It's part of aging! As you get older you will start to notice more things will be different than they are now.
So not to worry! Just accept it.

I'm finding out that everyone seems to have this magical year in their late 20's/early 30's where their body starts changing - freakishly. Metabolism changes, grey hairs creep in, spider veins pop up, etc.

On a brighter note, when veins seem large & bulgy, it's often a sign of good hydration, not necessarily a sign of older age.

Your best bet is to rid your sources of stress, take photos of the veins you're worried about (to track progression) and hang on...cause I hear the ride gets scarier.

I like big veins, I think they're sexy.
