Big blue veins in nipples and sore boobs??

ok my boobs had been really sore lately, more sore then when i normally get my period and today I noticed lots of huge blue veins on my boobs and they were going through my nipples and stuff. It really shocked me, I had a few tiny veins b4 where im pale but nothing like this and its like it just happend recently. I know Im not pregnant, I was having unprotected sex but I did start my period yesturday. Also I just started taking the birth control pill for the first time in years again yesturday, could that have something to do with the freaky veins?? Its seriously freaking me out (im 21)

the veins are soooo pronounced and weird looking and theres tons also my nipples are always really errect lately

What you are describing is EXACTLY what happened to me everytime I was pregnant but I suppose it could the BCP's too although it doesn't sound like you've been on then very long.

are you close to starting your period..they get sore about a week before and during due to hormones. Regardless though you should definitely go to the doctor and get a mammogram! they say its really only for older women but cancer doesn't discriminate nor does infection! Its probably just hormones though...

The only time I ever had large, visible veins in my breasts was when I was pregnant. But I suppose the birth control pills could have something to do with that.

GL!

Hi,
Pl. do not worry. This is normal as your body skin color is very light that is the reason of visibility of Blue veins on your breast. for sore breast pl. apply some cream/ olive oil on the breast very gently.
