Blue, Visible Veins...Is Exercise the Culprit?

I am 5.5, 125 lbs, and in shape (in my early 20s). I have always had some visible veins on inside of arms, hands, and feet, but now they seem to be popping up everywhere. Is this what I get for staying active? I have thought of getting them removed, but they look healthy (docs say they are not varicose or spider veins...nice I know).

If exercising is to blame, is there a way I could make them less noticeable without getting them removed? They are really killing my self esteem right now and I have a such a cute bod and face I used to love showing off (yeah, I was that girl). Early 20s just seems way to early to start dealing with sorry...but old people problems. J/k. I take these veins very seriously and would like only helpful responses. Not people trying to be cute. Thanks!!!

exersize is not the culprit. I dont do a damn thing and i have them too. that Nivea shimmer lotion seems to mask mine pretty well. You can hide the ones on your legs (if you have any) with nude or sheer nylons. Maybe try some kind of lotion to strengthen youtr skin. The could be "popping up" because your skin is thinning. Might be something to ask your doc about

It just means you have little fat under your skin and your skin is somewhat translucent. Ah... I remember those days!

If you are fair they will crop up everywhere. Also, birth control can cause this problem, or so I'm told. Your best bet is to invest in a really good fake tan like Jergens' glow lotion.
