One of the dangers following a vegetarian diet is.....? |
please could you tell me what are the dangers of being vegetarian ,how dose body suffer in the long term If you follow a correct and balanced diet, there ARE no dangers, and if done correctly, a vegetarian diet is HEALTHIER than a meat eating diet. And, there have been studies shown that people who eat the least amount of meat (the Okinawan Japanese, for example) are the healthiest and live the longest. Providing you research it well beforehand and don't just think that you are limited to a diet of just vegetables and fruit then there are no problems. you will not get a perfect shape,low ammino acid that soon will leads to acidity There are different type of vegetarians people are not educated about it and end up harming themselves. So yeah if you eat nothing but leafs, u are going to get sick. There are no specific dangers in being vegetarian. Many people who decide to cut out meat do their research and ensure they they are eating sufficient protein from other sources so I would say a greater proportion of vegetarians have a balanced diet. 1. You won't be getting a full range of amino acids in. Vegetable protein has about half of the amino acids that you need. This will make recovering from exercise difficult as you don't have the materials to rebuild tissues not many if your following a healthy balanced diet. Infact, many dr's, nutritionists etc reccommend it. As long as you get all your nurtients there is no damage. |
