Can you have a vegetarian diet that has no carbs and still be healthy? |
Can you have a vegetarian diet that has no carbs and still be healthy? Yeah if you take vitamins yes Vegetables have carbs, though a smaller amount. If you mean carbs like bread, pasta, grains, sugars, fruits- yes, you can be healthy as long as you include protein and eat a balanced diet. no because when you cut out carbs you cut out a lot of veggies too. I think you want to cut out starch, breads, pasta, rice. That I think you can do without. But carbs no, Peppers are carbs, green peppers, red peppers these are vegetables that are not only needed but very big in vegetarian dishes. I'm Not Sure , I'm A Vaginaltarian ! For a while, yes, but not for long. Under normal conditions with day to day activities, you can not live without some carbs in your diet. All fruits, grains, and vegetables have carbs more or less. YOu may need to re-word your question to ask what you really are trying to ask. You could fast without any food for 40 days (assuming you are normal and healthy and young with normal weight to start with) and in that sense live without carbs that long, but it would make you extremely weak and close to death. What's left if you cut out meat and carbs? |
