How could I slowly start a vegetarian diet?

I've grown as a total meat-eater and now I want to change. However, I couldn't push myself to just eat vegetables.

Start with just not eating Beef. Then move on to Fish. Then Potatoes. Then Rabbits and Chickens.

TRY AOL HEALTH PAGE IT HAS GOOD LAYOUTS.

i like boca burgers

Start to eat just white meats, like chicken and fish.
And then start to have less and less.

You can still have pasta, some pizza, salads, and you'll be very healthy, since meat is bad for you.

So goodluck!

Tbh, your even a vegetarian or not, you cant just suddenly be one.
its a stupid idea.

Start with cutting out the meat you eat most. Then continue from there step by step. With each meat you cut out, try to find a suitable veggie replacement, something that you will enjoy and look forward to eating, otherwise you will just crack and give up!

Slowly, take one serving of in-your-case, meat out of your diet, or at least limit yourself to it each day.

Then eventually you will not have meat in your diet....

But make sure you eat a lot of alternative meat-free proteins!

And don't starve yourself... that is one mistake a lot of people make.

First, eliminate red meat. Still have chicken, fish, turkey, etc. Maybe do that for a week to a month. Then quit eating poultry as well for a time. Last, fish. There you are.

You do know that vegetarians eat more than just vegetables, right? They don't eat meat. That's it. They eat everything else. Vegans don't eat meat or any animal products (or use them either). You can't just eat veggies and be healthy.

Why do you want to change? Please don't do.

the best thing for you in my opinion is to start adding more vegetables to your diet and just start taking meats out of your diet little by little

Yeah, it's pretty hard for most people.
I've been there, & done it myself.
I'm currently a pescatarian (eats seafood but no meat) & my whole life, I've been a crazy meat eater.

I was never thinking of becoming a pescatarian but I changed my mind right away when i read a book called "Skinny B*tch"
The book looks like a diet book that girls read to lose weight but it's actually made that way so the authors can spread the message. I really recommend that you read the book. It'll really change the way you look at meat & give you a huge kick start in becoming a vegetarian. If anything can change stubborn me, it can change anyone.

& also, what helped me the most was watching documentaries on factory farming. Once I watched how brutally & inhumanely people killed animals, I didn't want to eat meat ever again. So I recommend that, too.

But other than that, I think the best way to change your eating habit is to slowly give up meat. One week chicken, then beef, & so on. & don't try to stuff yourself with vegetables because you'll get sick of it & will really want to quit. Instead, eat things you always enjoyed that has no meat, like pasta, rice, baked potatoes, etc.

You have to read this book. Fit for Life by Harvey Diamond. You will learn things from this book that everyone should know but they don't. You will learn how to be a healthy vegetarian and it even has a 4 week meal schedule with all recipes included. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle designed for optimum health and energy. Also includes exercise advice and is easy to read because it is very interesting. You will love it.
