if you are on the pump or homolog/ lantis systems it is alot easier to become vegitarian. Although you need to keep a steady supply of protien in your diet. You can use eggs (if you aren't vega), penut butter and chesse to keep your levels up. keep with the starches and natural sugars like fructose in fruits to bring up low blood sugars. You may also want to go heavy on the gree veggies to add a boost to your diet.

try looking on the ADA website (american dietary association). If not there, then webmd.

Avoid fat and oils (especially fried foods), pickles, cashnuts, milk, underground tuber crops and coconut (lesser quantity).This is to reduce bad cholesterol(LDL) in the blood.
Eat leafy vegetable & other vegetable (raw cucumber, grapes, oranges and apple)etc. Banana may be excluded.
