Are human teeth designed to accommodate a vegetarian diet? We have three kinds of teeth. The back teeth (molars) are... Actually, they're designed to accomodate a varied diet. A rabbit is a typical vegetarian, but it only has the cutting teeth in front and grinding teeth in back. We have those, plus the flesh-ripping canines. i think human teeth are able to accommodate a vegetarian diet, but i don't think they were designed to. if you think about it we were given both canines and molars. canines are designed for tearing apart meat. while on the other hand molars are designed more for fruits and vegetables. i hope i helped a little. sorry if i'm wrong. =] THE RESPNSE FROM KITIANY IS VERY VERY CORRECT.
