How can I gain weight, with a vegan diet??

I'm 5'5..14 1/2 years old and 92 pounds..And I want to gain 10 pounds..But I'm vegan...Could anyone help me??..

Ther are two ways to go about it
1. Healthy version... Muscle weighs more then fat. High protien diet will help build muscle if you increase your excercise(don't over do it though. Lifting weights at a young age can actually be bad for you.). Also some of the protien shakes out there are non animal/dairy/egg based. Of course legumes are high in protien but consider nuts as they also have a lot of "healthy fat.
2. Eating junk food, chips for example could give you the fat needed to gain weight but would not recomend. (Could you actually see yourself eating pounds of deep fried chips every day?) My sister was vegitarian from 11-adult and her horacious diet has led to years battleing her weight. All she ever ate was junk. Keep in mind that at 14 your body burns so much energy you may have a lot of trouble gaining weight. Try to apriciate your body for what it is a normal healthy 14 year old. My husband was just like you as a teenager and now as an adult he is so thankful for that. He is now 30 5"10 and doesn't look his 175 lbs (again muscle weighs more then fat). He is healthy, has a great body image (feels good about himself) and always has.
I would try talking to a doctor, nutritionist at school ,or even the wrestling/football/track coaches to get healthy ideas.
Good luck and try to remember our bodies are only a small fraction of who we are, only the container that holds what is really important.
