Vegan diet... getting enough of certain foods.. help? |
I've no idea about how much of what i should be eating... (protein, fibre, carbs...etc) http://www.fatfreevegan.com/ You really shouldn't make the jump to veganism until you're able to fully understand it. However, I'm glad that you're trying to live a healthier life style. eating a vegan or even vegitarian diet can be unhealthy if you dont get your essential amino acids, vitamins and other nutrients not to mention healthy fats, protien and sugar. you have to plan your meals and match your foods wisely. an example is corn and green beans will give you all your essential amino acids (which your body needs) but they do not by themselves. you need to buy a book on the diet or do some research bc you need things like calcium. you might want to look at the 4 food groups and see what you should eat daily |
