Is the vegan diet good?

i've just started and i feel great but i want to know if its ok health wise?

Well you have billions of Indians who would say that it works for them. Many indians are vegetarian, far from malnourished, and very physically fit.

Just remember you have to get your proteins from beans or tofu, or lentils. And try to take a multivitamin if you feel tired.

if you are new to this type of eating you should get professional help from a dietician. Getting the right amount of protein can be tricky and is very important.

Vegan diets are amazing for your cholesterol and general health and if u fel gr8 u look great/.

You should definatly talk to a dietician or doctor about your vegan diet. They can help you create a healthy eating plan that will supply you with the nutrients your body needs. They may also be able to recommend some vitamins and supplements that you should be taking while eating vegan.

Health wise- Amazing diet! The only thing is, if your still a kid, teen you REALLY have to make sure you follow it to the peek, unfortantly I didn't take that so serious and lacked calcuim which gave me loss of bone density, low iron and organs shrunk. It's a great diet but you must be careful on it and make sure you get a good source of vitamins. Make sure to have soy milk 4 times a day and pump up your protein by snack on a handful of nuts, lol I sound like some trainer. Good luck with the diet, I really enjoyed it when I was on it, for sure when I turn 21 I'm going back on this diet ;)

NO! Follow the Food pyramid. If this is some kind of new fad diet, it won't work. The weight that you lose will come back.

there is no such thing as a vegan "diet"

people are vegan because they believe the way the food industries and anything with animals (such as leather) treats animals poorly, unfairly, and animals shouldnt be though of as a purse or as food.

and it can be good for you because eating vegetables are healthy but it can be bad for you. take vitamins and commit. and it will be alot easier to commit if you are doing it for the right reasons.
