It is difficult to go to a vegan diet from years of eating meat?

It is difficult to go to a vegan diet from years of eating meat?

why would you dio that? the only reason we have animals is so we can have a BBQ. We are the only animals in earth that chose the vegan lifestile when given a choice. have you ever seen a lion go like "Hey Andrew, pass the celery." as Chris Rock says... if you are one of the few lucky people in this earth to get your hands on a steak bite the s&@# out of it

i found it similar to quitting cigarettes but a lot easier.

yes

Depends on why you're going. If you NEED to, really not bad, if you're just experimenting, it'll probably be a pain. I did vegan for 2 years just to see if it affected me any--definitely had more energy, really didn't notice anything else. Seemed like I ate more.

No, just slowly acclimate yourself to it. Buy a good Vegan Cookbook and start from there.

I went veggie (lacto/ovo) for 7 years. That sucked! You can't eat out ANYWHERE!!! Forget about romantic dinners, unless you like salad. I gave it up and I'm much happier eating sloppy, greasy burgers.

Make sure your body gets all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Get protein suppliment. Your body usually craves certain types of food if it has lack of nutriens that are plentiful in that food. If you eat enough protein and fat (balanced diet), you shouldn't crave meat or animial products. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before you go vegan, because there're certain minerals that are abscent in vegan products and you'll need to take them as suppliments.

If you truly use your will power, it a piece of cake.
