Is it okay on a vegan diet?

to eat sweets lol like i know mainly its the calories not the food that makes it bad and such plus i know to limit excess sugar but would it be bad to eat nature vally bars or have things like quaker oatmeal with flavor then original? any ideas of what else is okay to also enjoy

vegan is a lifestyle nottt a "diet". you can't eat all sweets and call yourself a vegan, some have gelatin/red40/etc..here is a list of snacks that are found almost everywhere and are vegan-friedly:

you can eat lots of things like beans, tofu, legumes, lentils, whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, vegetables, soy milk, mock/soy meats, rice, fruits, nuts, seeds, nut butters, cereal, oatmeal, ETC..

If you like it . Eat it.

Vegan diets are figments of someone's imagination so there's no legalities, rules from a higher power, or biological imperative involved.

Your made up vegan rules are as good (or bad!) as anyone else's, so have at it.

As long as you don't use honey or there is no honey in the products, you're ok. Also, no animal based gelatin products.
The real question is:
Why do you know so little about about a vegan diet that you have to ask this question? Better educate yourself before your body educates you.
