I have just started a vegan diet, and I feel a little sick with a headache. What can I eat to help with this?

I really don't want to eat any more meat or meat products. I am absolutely sick over a video I saw on the PETA website. I just need a suggestion to help with the headache. Thanks :-)

If you have headaches, it is probably from a lack of protien and you should try eating beans, legumes (such as lentils and peas), soy products (tofu, soymilk). ALso, try nuts. Almonds have a little natural sugar in them too and they can help with heightening your blood sugar which can also cause headaches.

Tylenol, in the meantime, is meat free too :)

A big, thick, juicy steak.

Why punish yourself with these ridiculous fads? Vegan diets are a complete joke. You deprive yourself of essential nutrients and vitamins. Ex. vitamin B12, only way to get that naturally is by meat products, or in an extreme case drinking rain water that comes off the the roofs of buildings (Yes it has b12 in it.. Weird huh, yea bird crap is full of it).

I am already going to assume that you're overtaken by veganism, so pop a few Ibuprofens.. Oh wait, I'm sure theres some kind of animal bi-product.. Sucks for you.. Enjoy your headache!

It sounds like you just stopped eating meat, without replacing it with something else. You should go to a local veggie cafe to eat a square meal now (check out happycow.net or vegdining.com for listings) and over the next few days pick up a book and start cooking...

When learning to cook, remember that 80% of cooking comes from ingredient selection. That's why great chefs are very picky and secretive about thier sources. Go to your local farmers market and buy a few of everything and ask them how they like to cook the item or search online for how to cook them.
