This emphasizes a vegan diet but see last fat loss tip for most fattening food. It is a vegan food but you must eat healthy vegan food or become fat and unhealthy. Get the facts, don't listen to wrong ideas that makes USA very unhealthy and fat.

It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

There is no good totally vegan diet.

You need protein you are currently not getting! Eat a piece of meat!! LOL!

sorry hunny you need to eat some meat. some good protien like tuna, fish, or chicken. i know that's not what you wanna hear but lack of protien will hurt you. you need the protien for your metabolism. good luck

how about some meat????

your diet is not balanced enough.

try ayur veda doctors - they know a lot about all that

try to make your metabolism more speed by doing some exercise.

eat meat

How are you getting your protein? Is it through tofu, nuts, etc? If it's not, you certainly need that component. My friends that are all vegan all dropped a considerable amount of weight (although I have no idea what their metabolisms are like). I would suggest getting some vegan cookbooks; there are plenty out there and follow the recipes in there for nutritional, balanced meals.

Brown bread and Muesli. That helps your digestion. Also, eat a lot of fruit and veg and dairy products.

If you are only eating true vegan and are still gaining weight there is something wrong with your definition of vegan. I think you are not telling us about the processed snack foods you are eating also. Vegan does not mean just not eating meat. Please read the definition below form Wikipedia.com

I've noticed a lot of plump vegans and wondered why, if they were so healthy, they were overweight. Problem is, they ate too many cheeses and rich sauces with their veggies. Make sure you're not taking away from your good lifestyle by substituting the flavor of meats with calorie filled, artery clogging sauces, gravys, and cheeses. (And watch it on the desserts too)

Eat tofu and soy protein. Then eat lots of fruits, veggies. But be sure to get enough starches.

Don't you love the ignorant answers you are getting? LOL

it's funny how in this day and age, people think that you need meat to be healthy.

What is your diet consist of?

Do you eat bread? If so, make sure it is whole grain only.
You will also need to do 30 mins of moderate/vigorous exercise a day.

As you have discovered, a vegan diet is not necessarily low in calories--witness vegan chocolate! In order to lose a pound, your energy expenditure needs to be 3500 calories more than your intake. Generally this translates into "eat less and exercise more." Diet alone is not as effective as both diet and exercise, as the exercise basically revs up your metabolism. I'm looking at the Weight Watchers book right now and they have a section for vegetarians/vegans. For more info, go here:
