Vasectomy..? |
Is it normal to have a swelling and still be in pain 10 days after a vasectomy? stitch still hasn't come out yet. Scrotal pain, referred to as post-vasectomy pain syndrome, occurs in a small percentage of patients. Apparently the vas deferens is blocked and sperm builds up in the epididymis causing it to swell. This increased pressure in the epididymis causes pain but it is a rare occurrence. Usually, hot baths, analgesic medication and time resolve it, but occasionally more invasive treatment is needed. It takes time for everything to go back to normal. see the doc you shouldnt be having pain after a week.could be some infection inside you better see the doc. its so funny when a guy uses his wifes account with a womans face for the avatar to ask these questions. haha, i dont think thats very normal. if your really concerned, ask your doctor, or seek medical information on a site like webmd. I think so.. normally you are asked to go back within 10 dys to the surgeon so please go and see him/her and if the stiches are not healing properly that might be the cause of your pain now and for the future so go back you might need some further treatment to recorrect that scar, good luck. The knocks are probably what caused the problem. The pain is not normal. All the pain should have been gone within 3 days. |
