Vasectomy and low libido?

I have had a vasectomy few years ago and since then my libido is very low.
Could the vasectomy be the cause?
Any experience?
Thanks!

I don't know if this is going to be good or bad news, for you.

One half-million men get vasectomies every year, in the USA alone. That would not be happening if their was even a rumor that it would lower a mans libido.

The vasectomy had nothing to do with it. I got mine 20 years ago (when I was 21), and still have the libido of a 25 year old.

You are under stress, or maybe it is some medication you are taking. I have heard of medications for high blood pressure, depression, epilepsy, etc can cause a temporary loss of libido.

It's all in your head.

Clipping your bits has zero to do with libido. Your body is still producing the same level of testosterone as before. In fact you are still producing sperm cells, they just have no way of being injected into the semen prior to ejaculation.

If your libido is lower than normal, it may be one of many other factors: diet, physical fitness, health, mental, age, attraction to your spouse.

I got mine 10 years ago( when I was 24). I have not seen any change.
