Latest vasectomy methods, their advs & disadvs, their charges?

From other questions and answers, I understand that vasectomy won't have any side effects on sexual life. But, could someone please tell what are the latest methods in vasectomy, their advantages and disadvantages, the charges involved with each method?

When the doctor says don't life anything, climb stairs, or ride a motorcycle, that is exactly what you do. No exceptions.

If you do as you are told, you will be recovered in 2-5 days. If you don't you will be swollen, black and blue, and one sorry dog for a week or two.
