Vasectomy infection?

I had a vasectomy on tuesday. my left nut is fine, its the other side i can't even touch it with out it feeling like i was kicked in the balls. is this what a vasectomy is to feel like? or does it sound like it could be infection? It is all red and swallowinh and its hurt all around the right nut.,. OUCH Help

I didn't have this problem at all when I had mine. I know a few guys that did. In pretty much every case, they overdid some lifting or something too soon after the surgery. Odds are you pulled one of the tendons, or started some bleeding (in this case you have something like a "blood blister" in your sack).

My buddy decided to jump out of his pickup truck only 4 days after his surgery. Yup, he regretted doing that, for the next few days. You might say, that is like going out for steak on the day after you had a tooth pulled.

See the doctor. He or she will give you more antibiotics, and maybe some Vicodin. You will be in pain, and for a few days you night hate life. Just remember how great your sex life will be when it gets all healed up.

The good news is, if the surgery was done right, then you will never have to do this again. I am assuming you had a traditional vasectomy, not one of those high tech ones that are prone to problems.

GO BACK AND SEE YOUR SURGEON IMMEDIATELY
You have an infection in your right testicle and it needs to be treated so that you don't lose your testicle.
GO BACK AND SEE YOUR SURGEON IMMEDIATELY

Good luck

  • It is known that vasectomy is permanent birth control. Will it not effect the sex after vasectomy ?

I think you should go to another doctor. If there is no sperm, there is no pregnancy. Your sperm is not going anywhere after a vasectomy and it won't change your sex life either.
