Vasectomy on only one testicle?

Yeah, I only have one testicle. Laugh it up if you have to = P. When I was 15, I got some kind of infection that made my genitals swell up. I had to spend a few days in the hospital because of that. After the swelling went down and the infection was treated, one of my testicles (the right one) was left a hard mass; therefore, it had to be surgically removed.

Now to my question. I was just wondering, if I were to go to the doctor to get a vasectomy (which I probably sometimes within the next several years), would it be reasonable to ask him to charge me half price for the procedure---seeing as how he would only have one testicle to work with?

I can't believe you have the balls to ask this type of question

Remember about 60% of what the Dr charges goes to lawyers and Ins companies

You can always try!:} Sounds reasonable. One breast for a mastectomy would cost less for the procedure.

No. The procedure will cost you full price. It's like having one tonsil. The price for removal is not halved because do not have two.

Chow!!

Good luck if you can pull it off! But on the flip side of the coin, it's called a "vasectomy" and not "vasectomies"!

Sorry that happened to you, guy, at any age, let alone when guys are most self-conscious. Why would anyone laugh at you over that? I guess some people are really weird. And sickos.

Doctor's charges are always flexible, so it's certainly reasonable to ask for some kind of reduced rate, but keep in mind that most of the fee these days is for his malpractice insurance premium, so don't expect to see the bill cut in half.
