Vasectomy Reversal info?

Hi my partner is 28 and had a vasectomy approx 4 years ago. We are looking to have kids within the next 5 years.

How soon should he look at getting it reversed? Has anybody got some good information or success stories for me?

If you can observe here, the result/ scenario is not that good nor that bad. One probable reason is that ,the vas deferens (this is actually the filament like tube that was cut) is very very small. Unlike tubal ligation, the fallopian tube is a much bigger tube. In fact, to do vasectomy, they can simply make a snip on the side of the scrotum. No surgery is needed.

It is also said here that most doctors advise that the man store some of his sperm prior to vasectomy. d:

ASAP ----------------- but i've heard it's VERY Expensive!!!!! good luck

The less time between the vasectomy and the vasectomy reversal, the higher the rate of a successful reversal. The success of the procedure will also depend on the skill of the doctor performing the surgery.

The procedure costs around $5,000, but the cost will depend on the doctor. It is important to select a doctor that performs the procedure regularly and has high success rates.

It would be irresponsible to get it reversed. How are you going to teach your future child about actions and consequences if you dodge the consequences of his vasectomy? That sounds like bad parenting and you have not even started.

I know that sounds cruel, and not really what you want to read. I use this answer a lot. It frequently gets picked as the best, by the voters.
