Vasectomy? Should he have pain when he ejaculates? |
My husband had a vasectomy a few months back. He complains of a sore testical. Last night he had pains shooting through his med section while he was cumming. Is this normal? Should I leave him be until we see his doctor again? Of course he said he's fine. How long does it take to heal? Could he have a hernia? in the first few months yes pain is normal but this will go away if it does not see a urologist One thing I can tell you is there is NO way thats a hernia..I've had two before and have a third now..and No it should not hurt him. And yes I'd say wait till he sees the doctor.. He is still healing. I had mine 4 years ago and for the first 12 months I had some of the pains you describe. they do get better, so see you doctor and give it some time. I had mine done 20 years ago, and this never happened. I belong to a Child-Free club where most of the men are vascetomised, and none have ever mentioned it. |

As others have said, your primary for a referal, unless you know a good urologist. We happened to have a good one that was a relation by marriage, so I got better drugs than most, I think. A vasectomy has about a 99.9% effectiveness rate... meaning that, out of 1000 couples who use it as their only birth control, one will get pregnant after a year. Usually, if the vasectomy is going... Mine was fully recovered in a week. I have heard many men claim that they had some pain months later. That usually means they physically exerted themselves (maybe lifted something) a little too... |
