Vasectomy question........? |
Ok, was chatting with Mrs sithy, talking about contraceptives etc, and the subject of vasectomy popped up (sorry couldnt resist). yes ... depsite what 'Heads up!' says here above me, you will lead a perfectly normal sex life with all things functioning as normal with the exception of being able to produce offspring. I had this done over 20 years ago and have had no problems. In fact, just last year I had a specific test done to see if the process was still reversible after all these years and was given a better than 50% chance should I ever decide I want to have children again, which is highly unlikely though. Dont do it you will become an it. Oooow shut up about that. It just blocks the sperm, not the semen my sex life really improved after vascectomy because my wife and I do not have any worries about getting pregnant. And yes it works the same as before but no sperm cells involved. Yes it is called seminal fluid or semen. The procedure only stops sperm, not the semen. Yepper! Just no swimmers..Other than that, it's all the same. In a vasectomy, they ligate the vas deferens (the anatomy that enables the sperm to move from the testes to the urethra or exit to penis) so you wont ejaculate when you orgasm. You still have lubrication coz the prostate isnt gone but more likely no ejaculate (liquid excretion like you said). I will never know this one, latest research shows a 5% greater overall mortality rate for men with than w/out, preliminarily thought to be caused by reabsorbed sperm in the bloodstream causing auto immune and other unforeseen disorders. Not to mention it can hurt and 1% end up permanently disabled. Save it for the cat/dog. Come on, it's okay. Mrs. Sithy has gone through years of periods, maybe childbirth.....and probably using contraceptives......congratulations mr. sithy, it is your turn!!!! Tell Mrs. Sithy not to worry, she won't notice a bit of difference after the procedure. Neither will Mr. Sithy for that matter. Only the tube that carries "the guys" get's cut and tied. All else remains the same. Well... except that it is much less worrisome when you... how should I say... go asporting! Yes you do, there is however a small reduction in the volume of ejaculate, and it is also a little thinner in consistency. Everything else feels exactly the some. Mrs Sithy will certainly not notice any appreciable difference either. My hubby had one 8 years ago and yes you still get the "wet patch" (unfortunatly) Yes you still ejaculate fluid. Ejaculate is only about 10% spermatoza and about 90% prostate fluid. After you have a vasectomy - everything will be exactly the same as before with the exception of being able to father children. yes u will Go for it, it was the best decision I ever made. You will have full control of YOUR future. Not some broad playing menstrual roulette every month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the "snip" about 3 years ago, and I agree with most responses, best thing I have ever done, considering what my wife went through with child birth. Nothing changes in regards to getting a erection or ejeculating, but our sex life has improved dramatically. One thing to remember, for the first 48 hours after the procedure, don't do anything strenous or physical, just relax on the couch watching TV. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=... A vasectomy is the most cost effective birth control available. my hub had a vasectomy and 1 1/2 yr later only to find out I am pregnant, it was a total shock and at first did not believe the doctor we then went to the doctors to have his sperm rechecked and no surprise he was very fertile, we suspect his vas deferens had regrown it is not 100% like most people think sprinkle cat urine on your vagina |

A vasectomy has about a 99.9% effectiveness rate... meaning that, out of 1000 couples who use it as their only birth control, one will get pregnant after a year. Usually, if the vasectomy is going... Mine was fully recovered in a week. I have heard many men claim that they had some pain months later. That usually means they physically exerted themselves (maybe lifted something) a little too... |
