Vasculitis - Microscopic Polyangitis - anyone else have this? |
I have MPA. Now have kidney failure and am on dialysis. My iron levels are good but sometimes I feel as if I am not getting enough air, like I can't take a full lungful - could this be the Vasculitis involvement? I am not anaemic. Does anyone else on here have or know of anyone with MPA? Thanks. Hi, I have vasculitis and my kidneys failed, went onto dialysis and then a transplant. My renal consultants are assuming that I have the same type of vasculitis as yourself, but it could be one of the other types. Is your vasculitis active or dormant? If it is it could be what is causing your problems with your lungs as this type does effect them. Or it could be due to your kidney failure, tablets, or depending on if you are sticking to your fluid restriction or not, your have not said which type of dialysis you are on, I had mine everynight for 8 hours, but I do believe from speaking to other patients that when you are on haemodialysis you really know when you are due for your next lot. The best thing to do is speak to one of your doctors at the hospital that you are under. |
