Vasculitis in brain?

Seven years ago, I had a stroke, which was due to severe vomiting from migraines.

Two weeks ago, I started having migraines & vomiting again, so my neurologist ordered an MRA & the results showed that I had another stroke, and I I might have Vasculitis in my brain.

I read everything I could find about Vasculitis & it just made me more of a wreck than I already am. I have an appt. in the morning with my neuro. From what I read, steroids are usually prescribed, but he wants me to start taking Plavix. He also ordered a blood protein test which I have to get prior to my appt & he will have the results by 10.

Is there anything that I should specifically ask? Do you know anyone who has been diagnosed with Vasculitis in the brain? How are they doing? bad is it?

Please ask for tests for Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS). I am a multiple stroke survivor.
