Scared.. Help?? Something REALLY WRONG..?

So I just got back from the dr. From my fingers to about my elbow... is in COMPLETE pain. My veins have darkened to a black color and I barely have any feeling (right arm only) typing with left. I have a Knot in the palm of my hand that hurts and like shocks me when I touch it. Well I went to the dr. had an xray. nothing found. they said nothing about.. Carpal tunnel, tendonitis, fibromyalgia, arthritis. They believe its something with my circulatory system. they said my wrists were sionotic (darkened skin??) The mentioned vasculitis. I do not have good reflexes in right arm, but perfect in left. They did mention bone and muscle cancer.. :(:(:(:( Can someone possibly help diagnose? Tomorrow I go in for MRI, blood work, and some other stuff, possible admission to hospital. If they wanna run this many things.. is it really serious?? please help.. I'm scared to death!

Sounds like vasculitis to me. I know you are scared but trust your doctors to help you. They wouldn't have sent you home if they thought you were in immediate danger. You do realize the more upset you get the worse your problems will be? Try and calm down and do some meditation and keep repeating positive thoughts to yourself . Remember to breathe deeply and exhale slowly, it will help your body relax.

I understand that you must be very scared and you of course are thinking of all of the worst case cenerios, but take a deep breath and some pain medicine and get some sleep....let the doctors do their work and diagnose your problems, I am sure it will work out fine. It doesn't help you get better to worry and be scared to death. I cannot help diagnose you, but support is the best i can do. GOOD LUCK tomorrow!

OMG! This sounds really serious. However, I really don't think that you should scare yourself to death, that would be another problem. Please try to relax. Bone and muscles cancer, I think can be treated, however, it might be a little difficult and costly. I'm not sure, it varies. I sincerely hope and pray that you don't suffer and stay well. It does sound scary - I have been in many such scary situations with myself and my daughter. We here on Yahoo Answers are not qualified to diagnose things like this!! You need to trust you doctors and even though it is hard to do you must patiently await the test results. It sounds like the Dr. are being thorough in their testing and that is a good thing. Just because they are doing so many tests does not mean the diagnosis will be extremely bad. Doctors are only human and sometimes it is a matter of ruling out what it is not so that you can figure out what it is. All those tests will help to prove what it is not as well as help them to find out what IS going on. Did they give you anything for pain - something to help you rest?? If not take some Motrin - take 4! Try using a heating pad on your arm - that may help relax it a little. Try not to worry and trust the doctors!! The best thing you can do is to relax as much as possible right now because tension may only make your nerves in your arm tighter. If you can not sleep find something on TV to take your mind off this for a while. You might also try massaging your arm some if you can stand it. Hopefully tomorrow will bring you some answers and some pain relief. You will be in my prayers tonight!! Good Luck and God Bless!

I'm so sorry for the worry and pain you are going through, I have no idea what could be wrong. Have faith in your doctors, ask them lots of questions, and maybe search the conditions they said were possible on an internet search engine.

Try your very best to stay calm. Regardless of the problem, the best thing you can do for yourself right now is to rest, and try to keep your stress levels down.
