What's better for a vascular headache? Vasoconstrictors or vasodilators?

A vascular headache is a headache where blood vessel swelling or disturbance causes the pain.

Therefore my question is, is it better to use a vasoconstrictor or a vasodilator to relieve the pain? (Wikipedia suggests a number of vasoconstrictors)

vasoconstrictors
this is why you put ice bags on your head

I drink coffee or any kind of pop with caffeine. If I have some Excedrin extra strength I will take it since it has caffeine as well. The caffeine constricts blood vessels.

you need extra brisk walking exercise for blood circulation going up the head. then take coffee.
