Cardiovascular endurance and its benefits?

how does having improved cardio vascular endurance help in your overall health eg stops heart disease, diabetes cholestrol etc and how will it improve your performance in physical activities?
thanks

Your heart becomes stronger and more effective. Your heart rate will diminish making your heart work less. Your Imune system becomes stronger as well, this means you will be able to fight deceases better.

You will recover faster from activities and you'll be able to keep at it longer. For someone who doesn't compete at a high level it is advisable to do all your activities in the Aerobic zone, this way you are not stressing your body and making all the gains at the same time! Aerobic zone would be somewhere between 60 - 80% of your Maximum Heart Rate (MHR).

You will benefit the most by keeping your activity level in that zone, this is where you will get the most advantage working on your overall endurance and just improving your Cardio vascular. Numerous studies has proven its benefits and there is no doubt that regular excersise will help protect against many diseases.

Don't forget nutrition though! :)
Good luck!

The benefits of aerobic exercise are myriad. They include systemic changes such as reduced cholesterol and blood pressure, improved muscular endurance, reduced body fat, increased metabolism, to name a few. Aerobic activities strengthen the heart and lungs, making them more efficient and durable, improving quality and quantity of life. Exercise not only extends your life, but also gives you more energy to live it to the fullest.

Sounds like poor circulation to me. You may have had frostbite in the past even if you didn't know it and now when you go out in the cold your finger and arm are reacting to the cold.
