My surgeon recommends compression stockings grade II for my varicose. My husb prefers surgery. what to opt? |
The Vascular Surgeon says i can postpond my surgery.I'm 27yrs and underwent two c-sections and under obesity grade II. I attend slimming courses where i was taking machine sessions for my thighs and hips for past 1 year. Can i continue going for this in spite of my varicose? My husband is not a doctor by profession. The doctor says that there is no urgency to go for surgery, but it has to be done one or the other day as the stockings will only not let things worsen but can never be a complete remedy. My sister in law just had the laser surgery for her varicose veins. I would try that. I would also do it now with your health history. But than again, best to listen to the doctors advice. Good Luck. God Bless! Is hubby a MD? listen to your husband or you'll have varicose veins and a black eye Any treatment that your doctor thinks will help and avoids surgery (surgery is ALWAYS riskier and more extreme) seems well worth a try. I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV. i would follow your surgeon's advise but I would never recommend surgery if you can avoid it I have no idea which would be better but unless your husband is a doctor I'd go with the real doctor. LISTEN TO UR DOCTOR HE KNOWS THE BEST... I ADVICE U TO GO FOR HORMONE BALANCING THERAPY IN UR CASE UR HYPOTHYROID U GOT TO TREAT IT 1ST THEN MOVE FOR UR SURGERY ,ITS BETTER TO AVOID SURGERY U WILL HAVE LOT OF POST-OPERATIVE COMPLICATION LIKE RESPIRATORY,BLOOD CLOT FORMATION ETC ...AVOID SURGERY IF U CAN I think if you are only 27, why not wait a bit? Do you do any cardiovascular training, like bike riding or running? These activities can help reduce varicose veins. Get varicose veins treatment in India.cosmetic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges orthopaedic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. |
