Vaginitis... help?? |
so i have vaginitis and i have the cream and all and i've had vaginitis for 6 days now and it's really really hurting me. any ideas as to when it's be over? A couple of things that might help speed up the healing process are to cleanse the vaginal area with water only, soaps will only irritate and prolong your pain, and of course no bubble baths! Make sure to completely dry the area after bathing too, and eat yogurt, lots of it! A huge percentage of vaginitis is caused by yeast, basically a yeast infection! And make sure to wear 100% cotton panties too. Of course you should have this confirmed by your doctor. To diagnose your condition, your doctor may review your history of vaginal infections or sexually transmitted diseases and conduct a pelvic examination. Your doctor may take a sample of a cervical or vaginal discharge for laboratory analysis. This sample can confirm what kind of vaginitis you have. |
