Why do I keep getting Vaginitis??? |
I've had it twice within 4 months and my gyno doesn't really have an explanation as to why I keep getting it. I was already checked for STD's so we've ruled that out and it's not a yeast infection it's definately Vaginitis. I had the same problem. I finally found a wonderful gynocologist who explained that my PH balance was very sensitive to change (i.e. weather, sex, moisture, etc.) and she put me on this stuff called Relegard. It regulates your PH balance. You take it indefinately until you are better. It's a gel that you insert in your vagina before bed. She prescribed it to me for every night for one week and then, subsequently, one night a week until I got better. After about two months of using it my problem went away and I stopped using it. I haven't had an infection in about a year now. I don't know if this is your problem or even if this will work for you, but you might want to ask your gynocologist about this product. Good luck! guys can carry that too, so it could be transmitted during unprotected sex. or if you don't use proper sanitation before taking care of yourself in the bed you could be reinfecting yourself that way. if your sexually active your boyfriend could be reinfecting you, especially if he's sleeping with other women, and no he wont have any symptoms at all usually I know that hyperglycemia can cause chronic vaginal infections... have you had your blood sugar checked? |
