Ladies, does vaginitis really smell like fish? Actually yes! Vaginitis is just a generic term for inflammation of the vagina. Depending on the organism, you can have similar symptoms but different causes of vaginitis. Thrush, gonorrhoea, herpes, chlamydia, bacterial vaginosis and trich are all causes of vaginitis.
