How do you get rid of Bacterial Vaginitis? |
Hi, You can use Boric Acid to treat BV. Sometimes when anti-biotics don't work, you may need to re-acidify your vagina. Vaginas are slightly (very slightly) acidic to begin with so your pH may be off, resulting in the BV coming back. I have linked below directions on finding and using boric acid to treat BV. It works on Yeast Infections too! Ask your doctor if your partner needs to be treated too. You may just be passing it back and forth. u finger How is bacterial vaginosis treated? Hun, go to your doctor. Something must be wrong if anitbiotics don't help. I'm having the same problem, I've been to the doctor 3x and on 5 dif. meds. pills and creams. I have spent so much money and it wont go away. I don't think it has anything to do with your partner, because I'm having the same problem and I'm not having sex. I had BV a couple of months ago. I took the oral med Metronidazole. And I also ate yogurt and took probiotics(good bacteria) found in vitamin sections of most stores. and mine cleared up in ten days. You can get it from stress and soaps, foods you eat, and I hate to say it but uncircumcized men can carry more bacteria, because its a little harder to get themselves clean. also use condoms while having sex. sperm can disrupt your natural ph balances in your vagina. |
