HELP! i had itching and vaginal discharge and persistent cough. i did not take treatment for three months.? |
Later went to a doctor, took a test I was given peflotab then erythromycin for strep and cipro for the vaginitis (STAPH). This didnt work either. I went to another doctor who prescribed Secindazole tablets and ofloxacin for two weeks for the vaginitis and it improved, but started a week later. I did another test and i was told i had candida, no staph found. I was given Augmentin for the cough and metronidazole for the candida. The cough got cured but the candida persisted. I was then given fluconazole twice and clotrimazole vaginal cream, but the stubborn candida still stayed, i was given miconazole vaginal cream last week and still, no soap! Im going crazy about this! Can someone out there please help? I suggest you read a bit about candida. It requires usually not only medication but a special diet (no sugars no starch etc) read here: |
