Womens Health Question? |
Can Birth control cause a light green discharge? I have already been to the doctor and was told that I had Vaginitis. I explained the annoying discharge to my doctor and she told me to take antibioicts for vaginitis and it went away. Then I switched Birth Control to Yaz and the discharge stopped. Well the yaz made me violently ill. I got back on the yasmin and the discharge started again. Can a birth control cause the discharge? There isnt an odor, it is just really gross and annoying! Is it possible for it to look light green on white toilet paper? Please no disgusting remarks. I have been with my husband and my husband only who has been with only me for 8 years. I have had a daughter and been ran through the ringer as far as tests go when I had our daughter in 04'. Went to the doctor today and was told that everything looked great and that that is from the high levels of estrogen in the birth control pill. Thanks for all the responses. It may not be simple vaginitis, but rather a more serious infection called trichomoniasis, which is an infectious organism, unresponsive to antibiotics. |
