Part two of personal problem no one can find answer to....?

so then I went to my primary doctor and told her what was going on, she told me it was either a yeast infection or vaginitis, and prescribed me a pill. The pill hasn't done anything and it is still there. I have been using monistat 7 now to try and dull the pain, which it is doing, and vagisil to numb the itch but still no one has figured it out. I have insurance starting sept 1 but should i wait that long, but else can I do? I don't want to just go anywhere liek I said. Here's my symptoms... When I pee, it is really hot then when I done it burns and does for about ten to twenty mins. Then throughout say I have sharp pains inside. My back and stomach hurt like cramps but I just ended my period five days ago. Im not pregnant I was tested. I have itching on outer area of vag. and I am just completely uncomfprtable. I have been running small fevers the whole time and my entire body just hurts. Can anyone help me? Whats wrong? what should Ido? anything?

I was tested negative for a UTI. Thats when the doctor thought it would be vaginitis... but the meds that were given for that haven't helped

vaginitis or yeast infection doesn't cause the symptoms you describe, it sounds more like either a kidney problem or a bladder infection. You need to have a C & S, culture and sensitivity test on your urine. Did your doctor give you flagyl? In the meantime, eating yogurt should help you some, yogurt has good cultures that can destroy bad cultures. Are you on any antibiotics? It could also mean an ovary problem as with the back and stomach pain, but not the itching....tell me more....

I stand by what I suggested in the first part of your question. I would also suggest that you don't wait until you have health insurance to see a doctor if it's that bad. You don't want any problems to reach your kidneys (UTI) or reproductive organs (STD's).

I can't help thinking that you might have an STD and not a yeast infection. Have you been tested for them recently?

Have you been tested for a kidney infection or kidney stones? When you have a UTI or a kidney infection it burns like all get out and the pains sound like that is what it is. Just pray that it is not a kidney stone because they hurt so bad!

you have a kidney infection. you really should go to the ER they will let you make payments. the fever is a major concern. in the mean time. you can drink some grape juice and add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. 2 x a day
you should also take a couple of garlic supplements for the next few days to kill this bacteria. no soda. and dont use any soap to wash down there for a few days. only water. everytime you use the bathroom, rise with plain water. no soap right now. it is very corrosive. your urine is probably brownish or orangish , there could be blood in it.you really need to see a doctor.try thr ER they will get you a specialist. you dont want kidney failure.

Please stop all over the counter (OTC) stuff NOW!! the otc's may mess with test results, or cause symptoms not related to whatever the problem is. You must see a medical doctor asap. You may have real potential for kidney failure .... And that is serious!

Go to webmd.com and enter ALL of your symptoms. Print out the possible conditions and then take the list to a doctor. It really should be a GYN. Get tested for all of the possibilities because it could be a combination. Don't waste any time. It could be, (probably is), something minor but, since your general health is being effected, it could be Toxic Shock Syndrome. You need to attend to this asap. Even something minor can lead to something very serious if left untreated and it sounds like you're just treating the "symptoms" and not the "ailment". That's not a good thing to do ! If you are Singaporean,there is a women specialist at bishan st 22, recommended by my relative. you might want to try. in the mean time, like some1 has mentioned, eat plain yogurt and avoid sex. take care

sounds like a urinary tract infection to me...

if you need to wait for your ins to go to the dr try drinking plenty (as in tons) of water and cranberry juice....

This might not be your answer, but it is possible. My sister-in-law had much of the same symptoms and was diagnosed with UTI and a Yeast infection. It ended up being that she was having an allergic reaction to the detergent she was using. Try to think of anything new that you have used - detergent... soap... new clothes... anything like that. She also had the same effect of the medicine... gets mostly better, but when she finished the meds it got worse again. Hope this helps
