I suffer from Vaginismus. Anyone else suffered from this? Is there a cure? What can I do to get over this?

Oh my goodness. First, just ignore the previous posters looking for their two points. Some people lack the maturity to answer a sensitive question like this.

I'm very sorry that you suffer from this disorder. I know how lonely and frustrating it is. There is a cure, I promise - it's just a long road - there is no "quick fix", and no amount of tears and cursing at the world (or your body) will help (I already tried)

You can start by going to www.vaginismus.com and ordering yourself a set of graduated dilators. Vaginismus is a disorder where you have to be very proactive in your therapy to overcome. (as much as one might hate to admit that...)

Next, join a support group. There are several yahoo groups online (just plug the word vaginismus on the yahoo group home page and they all pop up)
