Can masturbating cause vaginal infections? |
i think i might have an infection and i was wondering if you can get it by masturbating Vaginal infections such as yeast infections and bacterial infections occur when the environment of the vagina becomes altered. There is naturally ocurring bacteria in the vgainal tract that works to keep the vagina healthy, when this bacteria becomes disturbed it causes bad bacteria to flourish and healthy bacteria to diminish causing vaginal infections and associated irriatation. Women should never ever douche, use scented soaps, colored toilet paper, scented hygiene products etc. all of these things can disrupt the vaginal environment. no. clean it out with a gental soap. if whatever you're using is dirty. (Hands, vibrator, etc...) Well to be very honest i think it could cause what have you touched before you have touched yourself? depends on wat ur masturbating with! you can get an infection if you are using an object to masturbate with that is not clean. you may want to get checked by a doctor. You could get a urinary tract infection. UTI's are caused by bacteria. To prevent UTI's, doctors will tell you to urinate before and after sex, and to clean yourself. A shower is best afterwards. I would assume this is the same for masterbating. you have to be careful and not use perfumed lotions. use vaseline or ky jelly. you can also get irritated if you use bubble bath or get soap inside you there. Try drinking cranberry juice and a lot of water and see if it gets better before spending money on doc bills. http://uistudenthealth.com/question/defa... there is no proof that masturebating casuses vaginal infections. I'm not to sure but I think if you use a vibrator that you used before and maybe not cleaned well enough it could be possible. It could also be a yeast infection, which could be caused by a number of things. You should go see a doctor. Yes, realistically masturbation can cause infections to the Only if you have had got dirty hands. Practically everybody is doing it or have done it or will be doing it. It is for self satisfaction where intercourse is difficult to get. |
