What causes vaginal infections when u keep yourself clean?

Can your partner give u an infection when they haven't one themselves?

It depends what kind of infection it is.

Things like Bacterial Vaginosis are not passed on from partners. It's some times caused by cleaning yourself too much (once a day is fine), by using douces and other things that can upset your natural balance of bacteria in that area.

See your doctor and have them take a swab - that will determine the type of infection you might have and how to treat it.

It can come from birth control if youre on it, I know that.
or an unbalance in needed bacteria in your vagina.

A vaginal infection can come from many things. Like the ones listed above.

Also your body can be telling you you have a problem elsewhere. If this continues I would suggest you visit your Dr. and have it checked out. People with diabetes can get lot of yeast infections for that reason. Many other medical problems can cause the same problem.

Please have it checked out if it continues.

Perfume,underwear,soap,periods,sex.

If you mean thrush then avoid eating mushrooms,marmite or anything that contains yeast.These foods start it off.
Eat live yogurt for a few days.

Sometimes overwashing strips the natural bacteria and that will cause a vaginal thrush,avoid perfumed soaps.
Also bubble baths can cause infections like thrush and cysitis.

Is is thrush? I think you need to get it checked out by a Doctor. I wouldn't risk these things.
