How can i stay clear of vaginal infections?

How can i stay clear of vaginal infections?

Wear white cotton pantiesas they allow your genital area to breath, helping the vaginal are to stay dry. It鈥檚 also a good idea to wear panties only during the day and not at night when you are sleeping.

Don鈥檛 use vaginal douches.

Never use petroleum jelly or oils for vaginal lubrication as they create a breeding ground for bacteria to grow.

If you are being treated for a vaginal infection, use all the medication as directed even if you think you are better.

Don鈥檛 have sexual intercourse during treatment for a vaginal infection and until you have no more symptoms.

Avoid vaginal contact with products that can irritate the vagina such as feminine hygiene products, perfumed or deodorant soaps, powders, lotions, and bubble baths.

Always avoid prolonged wearing of tight-fitting clothing such as bathing suits, exercise wear, pantyhose, or slacks.

Many times, vaginal infections cause intense itching 鈥?don鈥檛 scratch! Itching infected, inflamed areas will only make things worse.

If your period starts while you are using vaginal creams or suppositories, continue your regular medication schedule during your period and don鈥檛 use tampons 鈥?use pads instead.

Always use condoms during sexual intercourse unless you are in a long-term monogamous relationship.

Always wipe from front to back after urination or having a bowel movement. Improper wiping easily spreads bacteria to the vagina and may lead to vaginal discharge and infection.

wash?
Don't have unprotected sex...
wash...!

clean yourself, and quit banging nasty guys

Don't have unprotected sex, drink cranberry juice and lots of water (keeps your urinary tract clean), and wash with clean water- don't use soap, as it can cause the pH to become unbalanced and lead to yeast infections and other nasty things.

Also, make sure you see a gynecologist once a year.

Good luck! :)

Stay clean, wash... DONT do it with just anyone,,, DO it with just one
