Does stress cause yeast infections or vaginal odor? |
I RECENTLY HAD A YEAST INFECTION THAT I CURED ON MY OWN. MY PERIOD WAS A FEW WEEKS AGO AND FOR ABOUT THE PAST WEEK I'VE BEEN CRAMPING, HAVING A WHITE DISCHARGE AND A SLIGHT ODOR. SOMETIMES I SMELL THE ODOR WHEN I THINK I'M OVULATING OR WHEN MY PERIOD IS STARING. WHAT'S THE PROBLE??????????? I had a recurring infection for about 6 months. Part of it was that I WAS stressed, but it was mostly due to an antibiotic that I had taken. Yeast infections frequently recur, since your vaginal ph is off. If you self treated and you still have problems, go to the doctor. They can kill all the yeast right there, and give you either pills or topical treatments. Exercise, cutting out sugar from your diet, and eating yogurt help a lot also. I read the Yeast Connection book, and it looks like they have a website too. Take a look. sounds like a infection, use the vagisil at home infection thing, its new and will tell you what you have and its not otc. mostly vagina odor!! |
