What will happen if you have sex while using an OTC medicine for vaginal yeast infections? |
I know you have to wait at least three days (at least that's what it said in the Monistat box), but I was just wondering if anything serious could happen if you didn't wait the full three days. You could be making the infection worse and also spread it to your partner. That is correct, you will spread it to your partner and that could cause him sever pain , discharge and a rash. He will then need to be treated. It's best to wait until all signs and symptoms are completely gone. Otherwise, you will just be passing it back and forth. |
