What does a person do when they have recurrent vaginal yeast infections?

not sexually active
have had normal pap tests
have been prescribed flagyl numerous times
also a pill you take once, numerous times

I am type 1 diabetic

Don't use scented tampons
Always wear cotton underwear
Don't use antibacterial soap down there
Wipe front to back, poop has a lot of yeast in it
Cut back on baths, hot tubs, or swimming
Wear loose pants, and try to avoid panty hose
Most importantly, see a dr.

Ask your dr to give you extra Diflucan or Flagyl to keep in case of emergencies.

Diabetes probably has a lot to do with it. It's one of the many horrible effects of that atrocious disease.

shake up a can of rootbeer, put it down there, and open it up.. The acid clenses your vagina!

avoid a alot of sugar and carbohydrates. Make sure you wipe from front to back.

You may be suffering from Candidiasis

You need to figure out what's causing it. It may be your diet. Eat a lot of yogurt and drink cranberry juice (not cocktail). Ease up on excess sugar. If you take antibiotics for anything, take acidophiles, too (one capsule for each antibiotic pill). Avoid hot tubs and don't hang around in wet swimwear. Also, wear only 100% cotton underwear.

go see a doctor, i know some one who had the same thing and they went to go see the docter about it and it turns out they had diabeties. having repeated yeast infections are symptoms for it. please go see a doctor

here are some sites I looked up for you, personally I have never had any. so I hope theese sites help

Go see a doctor, you might not actually have a yeast infection, it is possible that it might be another type of vaginal infection.

I would recommend trying to add in Cranberry Juice and yogurt into your diet as they are something that some sources say prevents and or reduces the occurrence of yeast infections. (and they can't hurt right?)

I think in this case you should practice better hygiene methods if this is recurring.
